Kew CITES Trade Survey

Dear all,

Members of the Orchid Society of Great Britain are invited to participate in a survey being conducted by the CITES team at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. The survey will gather insights into the trade in CITES-listed plant species, between UK traders and destinations within the EU. The results will build on previous assessments of CITES related trade, and enhance RBG Kew’s ability to provide continuing advice to Government departments and industry, both before and after the Transition Period.

The survey is open to both businesses and amateur growers, who may buy/sell/exchange CITES-listed specimens to and from EU Member States. Although there is no obligation to participate, all responses would be very welcome, and would enable RBG Kew to develop a more detailed picture of plant trade between the UK and the EU, which may help to inform future policy decisions in this area.
