I have been collecting orchids for just over 30 years, after falling in love with them in Madeira. Like everyone, I started with a mixed collection, then specialised in what grew well for me. I now have a 20 ft x 10 ft greenhouse containing orchids mainly from Central and South America; particularly Cattleyas, Encyclias, Maxillarias, Phragmipediums and Restrepias.
