The OSGB is exhibiting at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival at the beginning of July.

Show 4–8 July, 10am to 6:30pm; 9 July 10am to 5:30pm

Build-up 30 June–3 July; Break-down 9 July


No display is possible without members' orchids, so please lend your plants – each one will make a difference.

Email displays@osgb.org.uk to make arrangements. We can collect and return plants.


If you'd like to help with the display build or man the stand during the show, please email displays@osgb.org.uk without delay.

Orchid Society of Great Britain Spring Show 7th May 2022

Information for your visit to Halsey Masonic Hall. 1 Rickmansworth Road. Watford. WD18 0JE


Directions from and to Watford Station, Metropolitan line via Baker street, Euston.

Journey time approx 40mins.

It’s a 16min walk to Halsey Hall. Turn right out of station entrance and walk along Cassiobury Park Ave to end. Cross over pedestrian lights and turn left continue up Rickmansworth Road passed Rosslyn Road, hall is on your right, black railings with entrance gate. Or turn right into Rosslyn Road and right again into Halsey Road. Hall car park on left, black gate.

You can catch a bus W30 but you must alight at the junction of Cassiobury Pk Road and Rickmansworth road and then 3 min walk after pedestrian crossing.

Please note, you will be barred from crossing the road after this point due to underpass.

However returning to the station you can catch the 352 from a bus stop(‘TownHall’) a few minutes to the right of the hall , returning to the station down Rickmansworth road and Cassiobury Park Ave.


There is a Taxi company. Allied Taxis. right of the entrance to station. Approx £5 to hall.

Also a small take away Deli/coffee shop and a newsagents.


Watford Junction station National Rail

From Euston or from the North via Birmingham, Approx 15 min walk to hall. Exit station and cross over road and proceed down Clarendon road, cross over Beechen Grove and continue to end where it will meet the High St, pedestrian precinct, turn right and continue all the way to the end where it opens out to a square. Rickmansworth Road is ahead of you and Halsey Hall is round to the left just passed a line of shops including.


Sandwich Box Café Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Menu on request.

Refreshments will be available at the hall, Tea ,Coffee and Cakes.


By Road

Whichever way you come into Watford by road you will most likely be approaching on the A411 to the one way system around the Shopping centre and High street , your looking for Sainsbury’s to your left and bear left from Exchange road into Beechen Grove and continue up to the roundabout over the underpass, taking the slip road immediately down to Rickmansworth Road and turn left pass the hall into Rosslyn Road , one way only , luckily our way, turn left again into Halsey Road and into car park, if full ( hopefully there will be a sign ). Continue on along Rosslyn Road to Multi Storey Car Park "GADE"

Entrance on the left, ticket issue on entry and paid for just inside exit door on returning to your car . Payment machine takes coins or Credit/Debit car. Tap or pin. £1 for each hour or £10/ 24hrs.

Disabled parking bays are front and back of carpark ground floor. There is a lift at rear of car park by gate to High Street. Cars have to go up one floor to first floor to exit, Barrier raises on number plate recognition of payment. Please note re-entry of persons to carpark is through scanning bar code on ticket at entrance door so please keep it safe.
