About the Event
Growing orchids in Costa Rica since 1979, Alvaro has achieved two AOS awards along with the huge success of propagating four Stanhopea primary hybrids from seed, two of which have bloomed. Stanhopea Apachecoi was registered with the RHS as the first primary artificial Stanhopea hybrid made in Costa Rica.
Alvaro is very active on social networks, including the OSGB Facebook page, which offer a permanent ‘exhibition space’ where he can ‘show’ an orchid almost every day!
This meeting is for OSGB members and non-members.
