Slipper Orchids of Vietnam and their Habitats: Speaker - Canh Chu Xuan

We are delighted to welcome Chu Xuan Canh who will showcase the amazing diversity of Vietnam’s slipper orchids. Chu Xuan is a prominent Vietnamese conservationist, researcher, and orchidologist based in Hanoi.

Widely recognised as one of the world's leading experts in Paphiopedilum, he is known for his extensive field research and for having the recently discovered species Paphiopedilum canhii named in his honour.
