Funding available for orchid projects through BETOC

The Barbara Everard Trust for Orchid Conservation supports individuals and organisations through the provision of funding to carry out a wide range of activities related to the conservation of all orchids and of encouraging orchid growing.

Applications for a grant can be made for projects such as:

• Providing education in any form regarding orchid growing including shows, publications and supporting research;

• Placing endangered orchids and specialist collections of orchids with suitable collectors / collections; or

• Supporting ex-situ conservation of orchids by seed raising and ex-situ propagation both for in-situ reintroduction and introduction into cultivation in the United Kingdom.
