Unknown Dendrobium
Can anyone identify this Dendrobium. It has attained a height of 4 feet and the flower does not open any further. It came in a shipment of Dendrobiums from India to a well known orchid nursery, but was wrongly named Gibsonii.

A late response to your query, Clifford. I got in touch with the Dendrobium expert at Kew and he identified it as Dendrobium praecinctum, a fairly widespread species from eastern Himalaya, Yunnan and northern IndoChina.
